Manufacturers from Uzbekistan felt very confident at INTERFABRIC at the collective exposition, organized with the support of the Export Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan.
Samples of the SET company from Samarkand - the Lelit Bed Linen trademark - stood out noticeably. The high quality of products is achieved here through cluster production: Samarkand Euro Asia Textile, founded in 2015, covers all stages, from growing cotton to sewing bed linen and home clothes.
“The exhibition is very good, we are taking part in it together with our sales representatives - the EAT company, which is located in Ivanovo,” comments Shokhrukh Mardonov, SET Export Sales Manager. “In just a day and a half, we received more than 200 new contacts.”
As Mardonov admitted, on the first day of the exhibition, visitors were mainly interested in finished products: pajamas, bathrobes, towels, bed linen. In the second, there was a demand for high-quality fabrics made from Uzbek cotton.
A modern and actively developing factory is ready to offer Russian consumers satin, stripe satin, gabardine, poplin, pique and twill. Products can be ordered according to samples from Uzbekistan, but many items from the assortment are in a large warehouse in Ivanovo.
The Lelit Bed Linen trademark was created on the basis of Samarkand Euro Asia Textile LLC, which is a unique enterprise that carries out the entire production cycle at its own production facilities. Lelit specializes in the production of fabrics, bed linen and home textiles from natural cotton with 3D printing and occupies 24 hectares of land, where workshops for the production of linen, its processing, dyeing and sewing are based. The production capacity of the fabric processing and dyeing shop is more than 50,000 linear meters per day and 300,000 sets of bed linen per year.
