shuyiskie-sytsi.JPGOn March 14, the winners of the IV All-Russian Competition for students and postgraduates of specialized textile universities, colleges, and additional education institutions, "Textile Design – A Link Between Times", will be awarded at the "INTERTKAN-2025.Spring" exhibition. The competition is organized by “Shuyskie Sitsy”, a longstanding participant of the exhibition.

From March 12 to 14, visitors will have the opportunity to view an exhibition featuring the winning works.

“Shuyskie Sitsy”—a key player in the country's textile industry with over two centuries of history—actively supports young talent, helping aspiring designers unlock their creative potential while keeping real production in mind. More than 20 competition winners have successfully completed internships at “Shuyskie Sitsy”, and some have already secured contracts with leading textile enterprises in Russia.

The competition featured three categories: "Dress and Shirt Fabric Collections", "Shuya Painting", "Bedding Collection".

In the "Dress and Shirt Fabric Collections" category, participants were challenged to create fabric collections using artificial intelligence (neural networks) under the theme "Talent Plus AI."

IMG_4525.PNGThe "Shuya Painting" category imposed no limits on artistic imagination—organizers believe that if such an artistic movement does not yet exist in cultural history, it can be created. With the rich and multifaceted heritage of the ancient town of Shuya, both its past and present serve as a limitless source of inspiration.

Among the traditional categories, "Bedding Collection" remained, with the theme "I Want to Sleep on This!" As one of Russia’s leading bedding manufacturers, the competition organizer naturally attracts a high number of participants in this category.

The competition’s organizing committee is headed by Anna Bogadelina, General Director of OJSC “Shuyskie Sitsy”. The jury includes heads of specialized university departments, representatives of creative unions, professional associations, institutions, as well as successful designers and entrepreneurs.

Each category has three winners, with prizes including a free internship at the “Shuyskie Sitsy” design studio.

The winning works will be showcased in an exhibition located in the “Nemchinov Hall” (near the entrance to the “Michurin Conference Hall”).
