March 22, 2018 in the “Expocenter” the 3rd TRADE AND PURCHASING SESSION with the participation of trade networks and light industry enterprises was held. 30 The event was organized by the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia. The event was held in the format of business meetings, B2B. The following participants took part in the Trade and Purchasing Session: – leading retail chains: Uniqlo, Modis, SELA, Glance, Finn Flare, BAON, Dom Farfora, X5 Carousel, Tvoy dom – the largest domestic and foreign manufacturers of fabrics and textile materials: MIRtex, KarFlorens, URSUS, Flash SRB, LANIX, Cianna Digital, EUROTEX RUSSIA 20Russian factories-manufacturers of clothes, home textiles, knitwear In the framework of the 3rd Trade and Purchasing Session, more than 70 domestic manufacturers of home textiles, knitwear, men’s, women’s and children’s clothes (including school uniforms), hosiery negotiated with the leading trade networks and Russian and foreign fabric manufacturers. Over 200 meetings were held. Participation in the session allowed participants to meet with the decision-makers on procurement in federal and regional networks, hold a presentation of a certain category, agree on the criteria for selecting of goods by networks and own production capacities and the quality of the products offered. Representatives of trade networks, domestic and foreign companies were satisfied with the negotiations with potential customers, the acquisition of new contacts. The need for such meetings was underscored by many participants of the event. 40 In the near future, the next Trade and Purchasing Session will take place, where both Russian and foreign producers of light industry products can take part.
