For 10 seasons the INTERFABRIC trend zone has been implementing the creative synergy of industry professionals from Russia and other countries, demonstrating the latest innovations from exhibitors.
In the 11th anniversary season of the Textile Trend Forum, an updated concept of the trend forum will be presented, in which there will be a place for the entire spectrum of Russian textiles and light industry - from future trends with real samples of fabrics, materials and accessories to professional consultations; from installations reflecting the origins of creativity to productive meetings.
The textile trend-forum, which is held twice a year within the INTERFABRIC exhibition, has become a real "place of power" and a creative point on the map of the Russian apparel industry over the years of its existence. Here professionals share their knowledge with professionals, creative collaborations find their source here, the successes of Russian textile and clothing designers grow from here, commercial collections and unique author's models are born.
At the outset of the Textile Trend Forum was a small part of the exposition - several tables with novelties in fabrics, textile and applied materials, accessories, leather, natural and artificial furs, which were selected in accordance with fashion forecasts by the specialists of the exhibition partner - Solstudio Textile Group. In the future this direction developed: first, mini-installations with fashionable prints and textures appeared, and over time they turned into real design labyrinths from the designer, decorator, specialist in the field of emotional showcase and effective visual merchandising Kirill Lopatinsky.
“Every season we choose the main topic for the trend zone and the entire forum as a whole,” comments the new season of Alexandra Kaloshina, founder of the Solstudio Textile Group. - Modern market conditions dictate new solutions. After sustained social and economic changes, consumers are rethinking consumption in the direction of those things that are really needed. We are actively working on the topic of the future forum and are doing it in collaboration with industry professionals from different countries.
In the spring of 2022, the trend zone exposition will traditionally reflect the main technological processes of fabric production. It is divided into sections: "Structures and Surfaces", "Finishing and Decoration", "Fabric Pattern" and "Sustainability". In each of the sections the expert committee selects the best of the best for the INTERFABRIC Awards every season. Among the winners are manufacturers from Russia and other countries, which makes the award truly international. Also within the framework of the Textile Trend Forum, the Textile Design Talents competition will be held, which opens up new names in textile design.
“We do not just take European trends - we land them on national soil; we do not just make beautiful selections of everything necessary for the production of light industry goods, but we set the tone for development, discover new names and bring closer the future, in which respect for resources, recycling and recycling technologies are not just words, but the norm of life.
