Visitors to the “INTERFABRIC” expo are already well-acquainted with the Sonifer brand, represented in the exhibition by Trans-Avto LLC for several seasons in a row. The company is set to present its latest developments at the upcoming "INTERFABRIC-2025.Spring" event. Meanwhile, we spoke with Artem Osipov, the project manager, about their participation in the fall “INTERFABRIC” exhibition and the unique features of their products offered to the light industry market today.
– At “INTERFABRIC,” we showcase the Sonifer insulator, a new Russian-made material utilizing Meltblown technology, meeting the highest standards of modern outerwear. This is achieved through the layered cellular structure of the insulator, which contains 50% Meltblown microfibers.
The key distinguishing feature of Sonifer wear insulation is its enhanced total thermal resistance. It belongs to the category of thin insulators but is significantly more efficient than conventional synthetics due to its production technology. The material is supplied laminated on one or both sides, completely preventing fiber migration through the fabric. Its structure also ensures that it doesn’t clump during wear or washing.
Another crucial advantage is its near-complete hydrophobicity. Even after 96 hours in water, the insulation absorbs only 8% of its volume while efficiently wicking away vapor.
The insulator is suitable for making any type of clothing for adults and children—coats, jackets, pants, overalls. It’s ideal for creating lightweight warm clothing for active sports such as skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering, and track and field. Thanks to its thinness, it’s also perfect for accessories like hats and gloves. This thinness makes clothing more comfortable, ergonomic, stylish, and form-fitting, allowing people to wear attractive outfits even in harsh conditions. Whether walking, playing sports, or driving, these garments provide unmatched comfort.
Interestingly, in addition to clothing insulation, Sonifer produces insulation for footwear—Sonifer shoes. This modern, thin insulator is also made using Meltblown technology. Its minimal thickness combined with excellent thermal insulation properties enables the creation of warm, comfortable, and durable footwear for any operating conditions.
