Saff Textile is a long–time partner of the
INTERFABRIC exhibition: Saff is exhibiting its products for the fourth time. The company was founded in 2010 in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. It is a manufacturer and seller of smooth-dyed and printed knitted fabrics in a wide range, as well as webbing, cords, and eraser tapes.
Today, the company's production facilities occupy 10,000 square meters of enclosed space. The company's factories are equipped with new and modern equipment. The annual output is more than 6,000 tons of knitted fabric.
Saff Textile company offers almost all types of knitted fabrics: smooth-dyed and printed culinary surface of various composition, width and density, with elastane and 100% cotton, modal, viscose, etc.; ribana, kashkorse, smooth-dyed and printed, of different composition, width and density; interlock, smooth-dyed and printed, 100% cottonb, cotton with elastane, polyester, viscose; two-thread footer and three-thread footer, smooth-dyed and printed, with and without fleece; velour, terry cloth, fleece, kapitonium and others.
Not so long ago, the company opened its branch in Moscow. We talked with Anton Sagatov, CEO of Lindertex Trade, a representative of the SAFF factory in the Russian Federation.
– What is the focus of your company's attention today?
– Currently, the factory produces knitted fabrics and some accessories in the form of elastic bands, cords, ribbons – a very wide variety of products. The quality of the material is mostly foam. Cotton is used for production, since the processing of this crop is highly developed in Uzbekistan. Cotton comes with additives of polyester, lycra and other synthetic materials. Our main production facility is located in Tashkent. There is a representative office in Moscow: office, warehouse, we accept orders. The warehouse is large enough, something is available, you can come, choose and immediately buy, other articles can be ordered from a roll or even a pack.
– How long have you been working?
– The SAFF factory itself has been in existence for 25 years. The representative office in Russia was opened two years ago. The company is developing, now we are looking for new warehouse space for rent in Moscow to increase sales.
– What novelties did you bring to the exhibition?
– From the novelties that the company presented at the “INTERFABRIC-2024.Spring" exhibition - fabrics with a jacquard print, knitted stripes, this is found in a small number of manufacturers. Different weaves, non–standard inclusions in fabrics are our main difference from competitors. Even the experts speaking within the framework of the business program noticed this. Many people specially visited our stand because the products are unusual.
– It is noteworthy that you have mainly light fabrics with a soft print…
– The fabrics of the so-called women's and children's colors are in great demand among customers. For this reason, they made up the main assortment of samples at the SAFF exhibition stand. Plain knitwear, especially dark, goes well for men's clothing.
– What are your impressions of the exhibition?
– We notified all our regular partners in advance that we would be exhibiting, we would bring new items, and they came to us. However, the global economic trend is such that there are fewer buyers interested in large wholesale. Basically, they take a roll, two at a time. These are novice clothing manufacturers who are still figuring out what's what. At the same time, each exhibition brings us new contacts, new customers, so today we plan to take part in the INTERFABRIC exhibition in the fall of 2024.
