Among the participants of the international INTERFABRIC exhibition, which will be held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds on August 28-30 of this year, – ‘KRASNYE TKACHI’ (Yaroslavl Region)
The history of the factory began in 1880, when the Moscow merchant of the first guild
Peter Sakin began the construction of a factory for finishing the linen cloth of linen yarn with vapor. It was produced in large volumes in the same area, which was one of the main centers of linen cultivation in the Russian Non-Black Earth Region.
For the high quality of linen fabrics, the
factory of Sakin was awarded with gold and silver medals of Russian exhibitions and fairs, as well as the World Exhibition in Chicago in 1885.
Its name – ‘KRASNYE TKACHI’ (Red weavers) – the factory received in 1924 as a result of the merger of two weaving factories:
Kormilitsinskaya and Nogotinskaya. During the Great Patriotic War, the enterprise produced products for the needs of the front: canvas, canvas, raincoat, etc. in considerable volumes. Since 1970, the factory has been refocused, mainly on the production of terry cloths and products on cotton – the predominant basis. This wide range of products is currently being produced.
In 2008 The enterprise was transformed into
‘Krasnye tkachi’ OJSC.
The main specialization of JSC is the production of terry cotton products: it is, first of all, towels, sheets, bathrobes, sets for sauna. To increase the competitiveness of products, the recently implemented German high-performance looms ‘
Dornier’ are used, allowing to produce products, including, with jacquard weave.
In addition, the finishing production has an automatic line for filing terry products, which makes it possible to exclude manual labor and perform the filing of products with a high level of quality. Modern technologies are also used in the manufacture / finishing of knitted fabrics and interlacing, as in the manufacture of socks. Cotton terry fabrics and products, including 3% polyester yarns, – sheets, towels, terry robes, sauna kits, children’s assortment – always find their buyer due to their quality and competitive prices. The company’s products are supplied almost to all regions of Russia. Stably high demand is enjoyed, in particular, smoothly colored towels made of bamboo and cotton with a volumetric pattern in the structure of terry; terry sheets with a curb (cotton – 97%, polyester thread – 3%).
‘Krasnye tkachi’ JSC is a regular participant of the All-Russian exhibitions-fairs in Moscow, Vologda, All-Russian contest ‘Textile salon’ in Ivanovo. In 2002, the jury of the contest ‘Textile Salon’ in Ivanovo, headed by fashion designer
Vyacheslav Zaitsev, conferred the title
‘Best fabric of the year’ for terry cloth. A collection of clothes from this fabric, created by the fashion designers of the enterprise, won prizes at the mentioned and other competitions. In 2009, JSC was awarded the diploma of the winner of the contest ‘The Best Enterprise of the Yaroslavl Region’.
In February 2004, new equipment for the bleaching, dyeing and drying of terry cloth was installed in the finishing production. This allowed to abandon the services of other enterprises in this sector of work and to allocate savings for improving the quality and diversity of the color range of terry products.
The general director of the company –
Andrey Yudaev – graduated in 1994 from Moscow State University with a degree in applied mathematics. Under his direct supervision, hosiery and knitted and crocheted areas equipped with modern equipment were put into operation; high-performance looms and a line for automatic cutting and filing of terry cloth.
One of the key employees of
‘Krasnye tkachi’ JSC is also
Alexey Poteryakhin, technical director – chief engineer. In 1989 he graduated from the All-Union Institute of Textile and Light Industry as a mechanical engineer. A. Poteryakhin has been working at the enterprise for more than 30 years. It is he who manages the manufacturing process for the production of terry products, knitted fabrics, and hosiery products.
