In 2025, "Karosport" celebrates 15 years of successful operations in the Russian market and invites visitors to its stand 11L11 (Pavilion 2, Hall 11) at the "INTERTKAN-2025. Autumn" exhibition. This season, the event will be held for the first time as part of the General Industry Exhibition of Textile and Light Industry "INTERTKAN." Over the years, "Karosport" has become a leading supplier of premium Italian knitted fabrics on the Russian market, representing the products of global industry leaders—MITI and Carvico, both based near Bergamo. MITI's range includes over 250 options, while Carvico offers around 100, catering to the most demanding needs of apparel manufacturers.
The primary applications of these materials include professional sports, premium sportswear, lingerie, as well as high-tech clothing for tourism, mountaineering, hunting, fishing, medical use, and tactical gear. All products come with personalized UNI EN ISO certificates specifying precise technical parameters.
The key distinction of Italian materials lies in the quality of the initial filament fibers, the technologies for converting fibers into yarns, fabric production (primarily Rachel warp-knitted fabrics), dyeing and finishing techniques, and the unique expertise of specialists. Combined with state-of-the-art machinery, these factors ensure excellent performance and durability of the end products.
The range of MITI fabrics supplied to Russia by "Karosport" includes three main groups based on composition. The first group consists of polyester-based fabrics, with or without elastane; 90% of these materials come in white, making them ideal for sublimation printing, though pre-dyed options, including trendy neon shades, are also available. The second group includes polyamide (nylon)-based fabrics, also with or without elastane, always pre-dyed for vibrant, long-lasting colors. The third group features unique fabrics incorporating high-quality Virginia Wool fibers, adding exceptional softness, warmth, and premium performance. Available in various densities, the materials also differ in structure, offering smooth, textured (3D), brushed, mesh, faux mesh, and perforated options.
Special attention is given to materials with enhanced properties: high tactile comfort, moisture-wicking, water-repellent and anti-static features, softness, elasticity, pilling resistance, durability, UV protection, thermal regulation, and resistance to washing, sweat, chlorine, and seawater.
In recent years, there has been growing demand for antibacterial materials, primarily incorporating silver (Ag+) and copper (Cu+) ions. While most manufacturers apply water-silicone emulsion-based solutions to the fabric, MITI integrates polymer granule solutions into the extruder during the melting and filament formation stage. This ensures that Ag+ microparticles remain intact, retaining 90% effectiveness even after 50 washes.
Unlike most manufacturers, MITI's knitted fabrics derive their properties not from finishing treatments but from a sequence of deep technological innovations—from producing complex-structured filament yarns to final processing.
The company emphasizes that all the aforementioned qualities of MITI fabrics are highly durable, with end products retaining their properties for years.
Beyond supplying Italian materials, "Karosport" also produces membrane fabrics, offers printing services, and manufactures high-quality apparel. At "INTERTKAN-2025. Autumn," the company will showcase its latest innovations and solutions for industry professionals, reaffirming its expertise in advanced textile materials.
