INTERFABRIC will present the architecture of the exhibition's business program

13.07.2026 г.

At the core of the business program of «INTERFABRIC. Autumn-2026» are the key provisions of the «Strategy for the Development of the Textile and Garment Industry of the Russian Federation until 2035», with a special emphasis on the development of the fashion industry, the localization of creative competencies, and the formation of an industry ecosystem.

The main event will be the plenary session «Fashion: Strategy and Solutions for Global Competition».

Strategic foundation and tracks by salons

The exhibition's business program is structured as an integrated system reflecting the priorities of the state strategy. Each of the exhibition's specialized salons («Fabric», «Fashion», «Childhood», «Podium», «TechMash», «Creative», «HomeTextile», «TechTextile») will have its own thematic tracks: round tables, industry seminars, and specialized lectures.

This architecture allows participants to deeply immerse themselves in the specifics of their segment, gain practical tools, and build cooperation chains within a specific direction without losing sight of the overall industry agenda. The tracks will be moderated by practicing experts, technologists, and representatives of regulatory bodies.

«Today, the light industry faces a choice: continue patching gaps in the supply chains or build a holistic ecosystem competitive in both domestic and international markets», notes Andrey Razbrodin, President of SOYUZLEGPROM. «The business program of INTERFABRIC this year becomes a project laboratory. We invite business, regulators, science, and education to one table to create a working model of a cluster. This is not only a matter of survival but also of the sovereignty of the light industry sector».

Plenary session: from disunity to an ecosystem

The central focal point will be the plenary session «Fashion: Strategy and Solutions for Global Competition». Its mission is the transition from a «every man for himself» model to synergy and an ecosystem approach, where joint activity yields greater results than the sum of individual efforts.

The agenda is structured into 5 thematic blocks:

1. Context and goal-setting

Overview of the current situation in the fashion industry, challenges and opportunities. Presentation of the concept of the cluster as an ecosystem. Analysis of international experience: the structure of the Milan cluster and the Dubai Design District (D3) — a hub that combines physical coworking with a powerful IT platform for working at the intersection of the material and virtual worlds.

2. Diagnosis of the current environment

Ecosystem mapping: identification of all potential participants (designers, trendsetters, garment manufacturing facilities, R&D laboratories, certification centers, specialized universities, logistics companies, media, and IT startups). Identification of key barriers: fragmentation of players, lack of a unified infrastructure, difficulties with access to financing, and a shortage of personnel.

3. Cluster architecture

Modeling the value chain «from sketch to shelf». Identification of anchor participants and the functions of the managing company. Formation of «points of attraction»: shared coworking spaces, prototyping laboratories, exhibition hubs, educational centers.

4. Mechanisms of synergy

Development of a partnership model: joint procurement, cross-promotion campaigns, trend data sharing. Design of a unified digital platform (B2B marketplace, contractor database, event calendar). Launch of educational initiatives: internship programs and joint courses with universities tailored to the cluster's needs.

5. Pilot projects

Approval of the cluster launch stages for 1–3 years with specific KPIs. Selection of 2–3 initiatives for a quick start (acceleration of young designers, joint procurement program, exhibition showcase of capsule collections). Discussion of financing models: government grants, private investments.

The discussion will also address cross-cutting issues: fabric production and print printing, design and sewing of capsule collections, certification of products and facilities, logistics, legal support, taxation and government support, as well as the development of new professions (in particular, the role of a stylist as an impetus for the development of creative industries).
