The organizers of the Interfabric exhibition and SOYUZLEGPROM are announcing the opening of two key offices abroad – in Istanbul (Turkiye) and Bangalore (India). This move solidifies the focus on international cooperation in the apparel industry sector and the creation of direct infrastructure for Russian companies to enter foreign markets.
In Turkiye, the official and exclusive partner for promoting the exhibition and supporting exports will be Sigma Expo Group, Istanbul - the leading operator of international trade shows. The Istanbul office will provide Russian and Turkish companies with a full range of services, from consulting and logistics to technical support and arranging visits to the Interfabric venue. The office will serve as a gateway for Turkish manufacturers to the EAEU market and will help Russian brands localize production and sourcing in the region.
The opening of a representation office in India aims to strengthen ties with one of the world's largest textile hubs. The office will focus on attracting Indian cotton, yarn, and ready-made clothing manufacturers, as well as assisting Russian exhibitors in entering South Asian markets. Key tasks will include organizing B2B meetings, verifying suppliers and helping with customs clearance.
The opening of overseas offices is synchronized with a major rebranding of the exhibition. ' Interfabric' is transforming into the International Textile Fair (ITF) — an international B2B ecosystem. The new positioning means not only increasing the share of foreign exhibitors and speakers, but also shifting the focus of the business program to export corridors, cross-cultural localization and direct contracts with global networks.
Andrey Razbrodin, President of SOYUZLEGPROM:
"Opening offices in Turkey and India is our response to businesses’ request to reduce risks when working with foreign partners. We’re removing the 'blind spots' of export: legal barriers, logistics challenges and finding reliable counterparts. Our local offices will act as bridges of trust: on one hand, they help Russian companies adapt to local standards and find raw materials or contractors and on the other hand, they provide a transparent entry into the EAEU market for foreign ITF participants. This is infrastructure without which international cooperation remains just correspondence, and with it, turns into signed contracts."
Integrating offices into the ITF ecosystem will allow exhibition participants to measure the demand in Moscow and then scale up deliveries through local hubs with full support. Details about support programs and access to office services in Turkiye and India will be presented at the 20th anniversary Interfabric exhibition, which will take place from September 29th, to October 1st, 2026, at the Crocus Expo.
