16th International exhibition of Fabric and Textile materials “INTERFABRIC-2024. Autumn”, which was a part of the Russian textile and consumer goods industry week, had successfully come to an end on the 12th of September. The event runed under the guidance of the Russian Union of the large-scale and consumer goods industries’ entrepreneurs (SOYUZLEGPROM) and was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade , The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. It became the largest platform for displaying the achievements of both national and international manufacturers and gave an opportunity for numerous textile businessmen to discuss important issues of the industry's growth.
This season our expo reclaimed its established industry platform status. It took the ground of 31 000 square meters, 800 companies and 1750 brands - and 70% of them were Russian manufacturers and suppliers - all of them had a chance to present their products and services to a wide audience. Our stands demonstrated the newest samples of textile, knitted fabrics, accessories, finishing materials, haberdashery, yarn and threads, textile raw materials, dyes. Participants from different regions of Russia and foreign countries exchanged their experience in fashion, textile design, technical textile and others. The exhibition’s geography framed 43 regions of Russia and 12 foreign countries including national expositions of China, Turkey, Belarus and Uzbekistan. The professional attendance reached 20 000 people.
According to Andrey Razbrodin, the Chief Executive of SOYUZLEGPROM, our expo follows international exhibition projects’ footsteps and aims to become more flexible with its development and structure; that is our development plan for the nearest future.

67 events with more than 170 participants have successfully passed along in the framework of the business program. Numerous currently important professional topics were discussed. Among them are: 2024 tax reform changes, technology development of technical textile production, practical experience of Russian manufacturers in digital printing on fabrics , fluff and feather’s export restrictive measures, consumer goods marking characteristics.
Attendants could observe the key textile design trends, international and Russian markets’ fabric review, fashion design macro tendencies. Cultural code and creative collaborations in creating Russian brand became the key topic of discussion. «Trend Catchers on “INTERFABRIC”» excursions became a part of the Trend forum.
Lections, workshops, discussions, round tables and other events attracted influencers, experts of the field, professionals of the textile industry: the founder of Solstudio Textile Group Alexandra Kaloshina, the chief officer of the BASK company Vladimir Bogdanov, the head of VM FACTORY by KIRILL LOPATINSKY Kirill Lopatinsky, the chief officer of “Capriccio” LLC Andrey Eremeev, a fashion range management expert and a business consultant Galina Kravchenko, a video communication marketing expert Olga Gushchina, a fashion and style expert Tatiana Selezniova, the owner of the “Fashion bureau” recruitment agency Elena Zalesskaya, the head of WilliZ project Maria Belova, the co-founder of “LAW for business” legal practice Oxana Kurochkina, Kosygin Russian State University rector assistant Oleg Kashcheev etc.
The representatives of the Russian Federation Council, The Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, SCO countries ambassadors and trade representatives, associations, academic institutions - attended an opening plenary session «Systematic cooperation of the large scale and consumer goods industry manufacturers from CIS and SCO countries during the global economic restructuring».
Andrey Razbrodin pointed out a need for cooperation with CIS partners in order to continue successfully developing the industry. He elaborated on the topic of SOUYZLEGPROM's Industry development strategy, that was developed last year and set to achieve its goals due 2035, alongside with national research university The Higher School of Economics. “We need not only to develop the strategy but also approve it on a nation-wide level - then only we will be able to come to the well-arranged evolution based on our deliberate advantages.” - Andrey Razbrodin emphasized.
As a part of the business program, the conference «Russian fashion industry: turning problems into advantages» took place. Key commercial fashion tendencies, value proposition’s speciality for companies, strengths and weaknesses of Russian brands were a part of the agenda. Also The Sewer’s Conference suggested many discusson topics, such as universal ideas for marketplace goods production, clothing manufacture automaticity during sanctions period and presented business cases’ review by the real example of the clothes brands owners.
Traditional Career day with the “Fashion bureau” recruitment agency took place. The agency experts spoke on HR problem solving with the help of artificial intelligence, brand building strategy in the fashion industry, companies’ misdeeds in personnel management and practice-oriented education issues.
The business program also delivered LEGPROMPARK as a cluster fashion development structure introduction, as well as “INTERFABRIC” digital version’s service abilities.
