Intai-Textile: The season’s best new arrivals at the INTERFABRIC exhibition

16.05.2025 г.
Even the most discerning customer will be satisfied when presented with a wide, high-quality range of fabrics – from traditional textiles to innovative ones created using nanotechnology and conductive fibers. These are exactly the kinds of fabrics offered by Intai-Textile.

We spoke with Vitaly Borovoy, General Director of "Intai-Textile".

"Intai-Textile" is a recognized leader in our country’s textile industry. Could you tell us more about this season’s new assortment?

– Our company mainly specializes in wholesale sales of various types of fabrics, equipment, and sublimation printing paper. We offer a wide selection of outerwear and lining materials. In our product range, you’ll find Oxford fabric, which is treated on the reverse side with polyurethane (PU) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coatings to make it water-repellent. The coating is available in different densities, which allows us to offer this fabric to manufacturers of shower curtains as well as those who sew tents, canopies, and even suitcases.

We always have outerwear fabrics like Dewspo Milky in stock – it’s a soft, lightweight fabric that holds down and other fibers well; Taffeta Milky, which repels moisture very effectively – even in heavy rain, it doesn’t get soaked, and water simply rolls off the surface of the garment. We also have a vast selection of Taffeta lining, so thanks to the large color variety of solid Dewspo outerwear and Taffeta lining, you can create numerous combinations or complement them with fleece.

– What are the key features of your fabrics?

– Today, our range of Taffeta lining fabrics can satisfy both those producing budget goods and those needing downproof materials. Our gabardine, available in densities from 210 to 270, is indispensable – it can take shape as anything from an oven mitt to a full suit. We have one of the widest color palettes in satin, which suits not only producers of classic flags and ribbons but also carnival costume makers. Our velvets are suitable not only for ceremonial use but also for sewing decorative gift pouches.

– What other fabric types does your company offer?

– We carry a curated selection of performance knit fabrics used in mass production of sportswear: leggings, swimsuits, yoga outfits, t-shirts, and gym leotards. Sportswear made from our knits is ideal for running or cycling. When forming our knitwear range, we paid attention to different compositions including polyester, polyamide, and nylon. We offer fabrics in various densities and stretch levels – all proven by time, demand, and industry testing.

– Do you offer fabrics for underwear?

– Our UNDERWEAR line includes fabrics ideal for sewing both women’s and men’s underwear. We offer high-quality jersey and biflex for the production of elastic, breathable garments that are very comfortable to wear. We also have fabrics for swimwear – a broad range of biflex and mesh with various combinations of polyester, polyamide (nylon), and spandex. These fabrics are extremely elastic, dry quickly, and don’t fade in the sun. We also carry a selection of fabrics for training apparel and sports team uniforms.

– With such a broad assortment, do you also supply home textile fabrics?

– Absolutely. For instance, we offer dense blackout fabrics (200/250) for sewing curtains and drapes. Gabardine in 210/230/270 densities is widely used – for curtains, tablecloths, pillow covers, and padded seat cushions. Voile and chiffon are excellent for making sheers and curtains. For curtain tape, we offer high-tech satin, which is also used in interior decoration. For clients working in the HoReCa sector, we can assist with corporate-themed outdoor structures – lounge chairs, café curtains, outdoor umbrellas. Thanks to the capabilities of our creative designers and our print department specialists, we can enhance them with unique sublimation printing.

– How do you evaluate your participation in the "INTERFABRIC" exhibitions?

– We’ve been participating in the "INTERFABRIC" exhibitions for many years. It’s an excellent platform for finding new clients and receiving feedback. Each exhibition has its own character, and it’s great that they’re all different. "INTERFABRIC" stands out in terms of organization, promotion, and advertising – that’s for sure.
