Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a resolution under which the textile and apparel industry, among other priority sectors, will receive a benefit on insurance contributions in 2026.
Small and medium-sized businesses whose activities correspond to the OKVED codes listed in the register (54 codes in total) will be able to apply a preferential insurance contribution rate of 15%, both up to the maximum base amount for calculating contributions and above it. For SMEs in the manufacturing sector, the rate will be 7.6%.
In addition to the textile and apparel sector, businesses in animal husbandry, fishing, crop production, the food industry, veterinary services, production of radio electronics, medicines, and medical materials will be able to use the benefit.
As emphasized by the Cabinet, the support measure is aimed at the sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises in sectors that are priorities for the Russian economy.
