Gamma TD: "INTERTKAN" Plays a Key Role in Business Development and Experience Exchange

JSC "Gamma TD" holds a leading position in the Russian market in the production, wholesale, and retail of sewing accessories, as well as products for handicrafts and creativity. Established in 1993, the company has built a solid reputation over 31 years as a reliable partner for both customers and suppliers. Continuing its long-standing tradition of presenting new products at the INTERFABRIC expo, Gamma TD participated in this season's fall showcase. At the company’s stand, we had the opportunity to speak with Irina Bulatova, Head of Sales for the "Sewing Accessories" division.

– Irina, what range of products did you bring to INTERFABRIC, and what are you focusing on?

– Our flagship offerings include a wide range of zippers, sewing tools, needles, and scissors. Additionally, we provide an extensive selection of interfacing, fusible materials, and other adhesive products, as well as fabrics by the meter from both Chinese manufacturers and domestic Russian producers. We act as an aggregator for Russian-made goods and constantly update our product range with new additions. Our lineup includes satin and grosgrain ribbons, bindings, webbing, hook-and-loop fasteners, and other accessories that are popular with our customers.

We also keep an eye on trends and regularly introduce new items such as buttons, lace, metal fittings, and lingerie accessories. Our clients primarily consist of retail store owners and sewing professionals who create souvenir items and costumes. We also cater to those who produce specialized products like parachutes and suitcases. We strive for continuous improvement and innovation in our product range. Maintaining an optimal balance between price and quality is crucial for us to ensure that our products are accessible to both stores and end consumers.

You regularly participate in expos. What goals do you pursue, and what attracts you to these events?

– Expos play a vital role in business development and experience sharing. They provide a platform not only to discover new products and technologies but also to meet colleagues, discuss current industry trends, and establish valuable connections.

Interaction at exhibitions is key—it allows us to see products firsthand, engage with professionals, and receive expert advice and support. Meeting with colleagues and competitors helps us view our business from a different perspective, gain fresh ideas, and find solutions for growth. Feedback from expo visitors helps us identify what we are doing right and what needs improvement or change. 

The connections established at exhibitions often form the foundation for long-term partnerships and business growth. Even in the digital age, face-to-face communication remains essential for successful business development. Meeting potential clients at exhibitions provides insights into their needs and expectations, allowing us to tailor our products and services to meet their demands.

How would you evaluate the INTERFABRIC 2024 Autumn exhibition?

– I’d like to emphasize that our team regularly and actively visits various regions, including major metropolitan areas and remote towns with smaller populations. Even so, it’s always a pleasure to meet our clients at the "INTERFABRIC" fabrics and textiles exhibition. Their geographical reach is vast, including regions like Yakutia, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Chita, Ulan-Ude, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and the Caucasus. We’ve seen clients from Ingushetia and Ossetia as well. Even in areas where local delivery options from Turkey or Kazakhstan exist, the consistent quality and systematic assortment of our products remain in demand. This is why clients from these regions come to see us here. Our experience and professionalism enable us to successfully operate in various regions and foster business relationships nationwide. We take pride in being a reliable supplier of high-quality products, capable of meeting the most discerning client needs.

Your stand staff impressed visitors with their positive attitude and energy. How much of the company’s success depends on the team?

– In these challenging times, we prioritize taking care of our team. We have a large staff and have managed to retain every single employee. None of them has ever considered switching to a different industry. Our employees are dedicated to their work, giving their all to ensure the team’s success.
